How Do I Update My Resume? |
It is the models’ responsibility to keep the corporate office updated and informed of any changes to their resume. Every time a new job is booked, it needs to be logged in on the resume. Changes such as clothing sizes and addresses all need to be current. Notify us immediately if you change your hair length or color. The headshot should also be updated every year regardless of size or hair changes. A client will not hire a 17 year old with a 15 year olds headshot. |

What Needs To Be Included On a Model's Resume? |
A resume is a quick reference for a booker to promote a model to a client. Certain information is essential such as sizes, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, and medical history. Something as simple as food allergies or something as severe as asthma needs to be reported to our staff. If your child is on Ritalin, we need to know about it. Clients will need to know a model’s hobbies, skills, talents, and interests for booking certain jobs. Are you bilingual? Can you drive a motorcycle? Can a child skip? All information is screened by the bookers and edited if not appropriate for the resume. Use the sample resume provided as a guideline. Parents should assist minors with resumes ensuring accuracy and accountability of skills listed. For example, a teenager that has had a year of Spanish in high school is not considered bilingual. |
