Model Productions Answers Frequently Asked Questions

GETTING JOBS

How does the Casting Board Work?

Many of our models live in rural, remote areas of the country and cannot travel to our regional headquarters in Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles, Dallas and Miami for every audition. Therefore our bookers select certain castings to post on the Model Productions web site for models to audition online from their home. This section of the web site is closed to the public. You must have a username and password to enter. Any of our models may access the Casting Board at any time and book jobs direct. This allows new models to earn extra money and build their resume quickly by landing jobs that our professional models would be over qualified for. Models should check the web daily for new listings. Use the key to determine modeling or acting postings. Also note, the date listed beside the auditions is the date that the job was posted on the web site.... NOT THE DATE OF CASTING. Most castings are listed for 60-90 days. Some movies take 4-6 months to complete a full cast. There will be postings that are currently ongoing and are permanently listed.

How does the Booking Department Work?

Model Productions Booking Department is one of the top in the U.S. When a client calls Model Productions and asks for a model or actor we strive to give them the best model or actor available. We Submit models/actors according to who we think will best represent Model Productions and the Client. We choose models from their resume and casting cards. Some of our clients only want to see our top 5 in an age category; other clients want to see everyone that fits the description they are looking to cast. Whether booking an actor in a Film or a Model in a Hair Show, we will always try to provide the most qualified person for the job.

When Do I Move To A Larger Market?

No-one who is just beginning a career in film and fashion should be required to move to a larger market right away. The models’ casting cards should represent them locally, regionally, and nationally. If a job is booked in a major market then the model travels to the job and upon completion returns home. Most bookings average three days to three weeks in length. Once a model is booking frequently, it may become more convenient to move to where the work is.
